TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

PUBLIC MEETING

 

The Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) is seeking public comment on the proposed Fiscal Year 2011 – Fiscal Year 2015 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is prepared annually by the CRTPA to inform the public of regionally significant transportation projects (including aviation, bicycle, pedestrian, roadway and transit) that have received federal, state and local funding in Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson and Wakulla counties. 

 

A public meeting to discuss the TIP is scheduled for:

Wednesday, May 19 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.

300 South Adams Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301

Citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about the TIP as well as the metropolitan transportation planning process. Furthermore, CRTPA staff will demonstrate the agency’s new Interactive TIP that allows citizens to search for projects on-line.   The FY 2011 - FY 2015 TIP is scheduled to be adopted at the June 21, 2010 CRTPA Board Meeting.

Citizens wishing to comment on the TIP document may do so in writing (by letter or e-mail). Comments should be sent to:
